W 1904 roku rozpocz\u0105\u0142 studia artystyczne w Szkole Sztuk Pi\u0119knych w Warszawie pod kierunkiem Konrada Krzy\u017canowskiego. W 1908 roku kontynuowa\u0142 swoje studia w Pary\u017cu, gdzie zwi\u0105za\u0142 si\u0119 z polskimi pisarzami i artystami nale\u017c\u0105cymi do Klubu Rojalist\u00f3w, organizacji skupiaj\u0105cej tw\u00f3rc\u00f3w o pogl\u0105dach monarchistycznych. Tam te\u017c pozna\u0142 swoj\u0105 przysz\u0142\u0105 \u017con\u0119.<\/p><p>Jego tw\u00f3rczo\u015b\u0107 by\u0142a zwi\u0105zana z nurtem <strong>M\u0142odej Sztuki<\/strong>, kt\u00f3rego by\u0142 wsp\u00f3\u0142za\u0142o\u017cycielem. W swoich pracach artysta eksperymentowa\u0142 z r\u00f3\u017cnymi stylami i technikami, od <strong>impresjonizmu<\/strong> po<strong> ekspresjonizm<\/strong>. Wiele z jego dzie\u0142 to <strong>portrety<\/strong>, ale malowa\u0142 tak\u017ce <strong>pejza\u017ce<\/strong>, <strong>martwe natury<\/strong> i <strong>sceny rodzajowe<\/strong>. Pruszkowski by\u0142 tak\u017ce krytykiem sztuki i pedagogiem. W 1918 roku zosta\u0142 asystentem w <strong>Szkole Sztuk Pi\u0119knych<\/strong> w Warszawie, a od 1923 roku organizowa\u0142 dla student\u00f3w uczelni letnie plenery artystyczne w Kazimierzu Dolnym. W 1925 roku wsp\u00f3lnie z miejscowym ksi\u0119dzem Stanis\u0142awem Szepietowskim za\u0142o\u017cy\u0142 <strong>Towarzystwo Przyjaci\u00f3\u0142 Kazimierza<\/strong>. W 1926 roku powsta\u0142 z jego inicjatywy nakr\u0119cony w Kazimierzu Dolnym film <strong><em>Szcz\u0119\u015bliwy wisielec, czyli Kalifornia w Polsce<\/em><\/strong>. Tadeusz Pruszkowski zgin\u0105\u0142 tragicznie w 1942 roku podczas pr\u00f3by ucieczki z transportu do wi\u0119zienia na Pawiaku.
